Starting my new job at the hospital has been an amazing experience, and I have met some amazing people! Last friday a group of girls from the hospital went to see Tuachan's Thriller..while not what I expected...the zombies walking through the audience were exactly what I expected!
I know how I react when I get scared, so I warned all the girls as we walked in that I would be swearing if scared...and sure enough...not even sitting down 5 minutes and I see this zombie a couple rows above me just tormenting this woman, "Oh, look at her. I need to prepare myself for something like that so I'm not freaked out," I say to Virginia. Meanwhile there is a zombie right next to me (just waiting for me, Im the only one who doesn't know she's there)...and yeah right as I turn around...BAM-right in my face, "SHIT BALLS!" I scream..right in Alisa's ear...and yes, EVERYONE stared. BUT I did warn them.

GO UTES!!
Sept 17, 2011
While Chav is away, I decided my Dad and I should go to the Utah VS Byu game! Uncle Joel and his daughter Mindy came with us (Byu fans...but we love 'em anyway)!
Walking into the stadium was like a see of blue, with random dots of red....
Leaving the stadium was another story. By the end of the 3rd quarter most of the cougar fans had rolled out.
It wasn't much of a game after the 2nd half, but it was still a VICTORY for the UTES.

Chav left for 20 days to go guide for BTO again this year...definately miss him! Thankfully I got offered a job at Dixie Regional Medical center right before he left!!!!! :-D so between school projects, clinical hours, and orienting for this new job; I've been at the house to sleep and eat...and that's about it.
I hate this time every year when he leaves, but it's true what they say: distance really does make the heart grow fonder.

Fun in the Sun!
July 2011:
By some miracle we both found time in our busy schedules to hang out with eachother (Kyle and Kylee Treece). Kyle and Chav knew eachother back on the mission, and we've really enjoyed living so close to them. Saturday we went to Quail Creek and hung out for the afternoon...

Redd Reunion
Finally to JULY...catching up via BLOG is time consuming.
On the way to Blanding on July 1st about 45 minutes into our journey my windsheild broke...30 min later...pulled over...:) so far so good.
Saturday, we headed up to the Holliday cabin, and hung out at the pond, shot guns, and ate lunch.
Sunday morning all the Redd's got together again and played Minute to Win it, and then watched a video that showed grandma and grandpa redd at the last thanksgiving they were both alive. I loved being able to hear their voices and see them since I never had the pleasure of meeting them.
the Redd family has no idea how much I love all of them. It means everything to me to be apart of a family that despite all their differences, have remained close with eachother. All the grandkids are growing up, and now there are great-grandchildren, and still 90% of the family was at the reunion...that is just amazing to me, and I am so glad I get to be apart of it.
Sunday night we played poker.
Everyone is accounted for, except the WINNER...haha that would be me.
Unfortunately, I get really competitive when playing poker...so my apolozies go out to my fellow players...next time, I'll control my self better.
Happy 4th of July...Monday we all attended the parade.
WE LOVE going to Blanding for the 4th and we LOVE spending time with the Redds.

Where are we??
After mason and lexi's reception on saturday, we hit the road heading back to st. george due to us having to pick up horses in the morning and head to Albion Idaho.
We arrived to st george around 2am, and were back on the road heading north by 930am.
Chavis' boss asked Chavis to take two of his horses to this horse Vet in Albion, Idaho. "Albion Idaho" typed into GPS...total time 7 hours and 45 min, "Oh, we'll definately be able to drop the horses off by five, then eat and relax til morning," I thought. And you would've thought that with two GPS devices, and four eyes capable of reading street signs we would've made it to our destination on time...but NO. Oh no that did not happen. There's a mountain that divides albion...and the GPS apparently had NO knowledge of the side we were supposed to be on. Between my TOMTOM and the Dodge GPS, we traveld in, through, and around Burley ID; all over people's private farms (because GPS picks up DIRT roads, but not paved roads that run parallel .25 miles east), and through this small town...
Me being the person I am had the mother of all swear words just boiling inside me waiting to escape (to my future posterity...this may suprise you that I ever swore...but I was young and careless back then)...but I held them in until Chavis got too close the a pole at the gas station, and F... :( "Was that necessary?" Chavis said. "Uh yes..I've been holding them in all day, one was bound to slip out eventually."
so after driving on dirt roads for an hour and a half, and being lost for FOUR hours, we finally found the Vet, and were able to drop off the horses.
Unfortunately, at ten pm on a sunday in a town with one gas station that is closed on sunday...we had to drive 30 min back into Burley to eat nasty dinner at diary queen at eleven o'clock at night.
Thankfully we stayed in a cute little hotel, and businesses opened up monday morning.
I have the picture of the liquor store because we ate lunch across the street at eleven, and there we 3 different trucks that pulled up to this store, and just sat and stared at it for a coulple minutes each...apparently they had sundays that were worse than ours...they all thought if they wished hard enough it would open before their eyes.
We also found the old Post office...it's the only post-office we've ever seen without the USPS logo on it.
This pic is on the way back to the VET to load up one of the horses.
Sad, that the horse we didn't bring home had to be put down...and horses scare me...but I really grew to like this one after we got lost together.
Heading home...6 hours to go.

| "uh...we could really use a dodge about now." the whip we took to make the long journey. |

Mason & Lexi's BIG day
July 23rd we made the long 5 1/2 hour drive through the reservation and ending up in Blanding to attend one of Chavis' best friend's weddings.
The wedding was held at a small park in monticello, and Lexi did such a good job picking out their colors...the entire event looked GREAT!!
We're so excited for Mason and Lexi to be hitched!!! We hope they LOVE being married, and can't wait to hang out with them soon!
