Our friends Brittany and TJ Adams had a Halloween Party.. Chav and I went as nerds (very last minute decision, but I think it turned out cute :))

There's not many places in Utah that let you hang out in your swim suit in October, so naturally I feel very blessed to live where I do.

In September my friends Brittany, Jessica, and sister Meagan and niece Lo went to Vegas for the weekend to chill in the lazy river at Tahiti Village and....(drum-roll please)....go to the ROD STEWART concert!!!

Yes, it is true. I am a big fan and have been since I can remember.

Cindy (Bradford)'s Baby Shower

We headed to blanding for Cindy's baby shower.

Cindy is one of my good friends from nursing school. She's been married our entire friendship, so when I filled out the front of her card I wrote, "Cindy and Baby Girl Palmer." I thought something looked off but couldn't put my finger on it. I take it the the shower and set it down so the card is facing the guests, I see one person look at it kind of funny..but by this time I'd forgot about my previous concern, so I look at this gift and think, "What? I wrapped it really well..and my handwriting looks nice." Cindy opens and reads the card and says nothing out of the ordinary, so I'm in the clear...not exactly.

About 4 hours later we are driving up the mountain and it hits me PALMER is Cindy's maiden name!! I quickly send a text message (ASAP when driving in & out of service). Cindy tells me she thought it was hilarious! 

Well, I'm glad she did because I felt like a jackass...at least I know it wasn't my wrap job or handwriting that made people look at it funny :)

I took my camera to the shower, but I didn't get any pictures :( 

But being with Cindy and Marisa always brings back memories from nursing school..

I feel a trip down memory lane coming.

Good times and good memories were made during our years in school...we always have a good laugh when we get together.

I'm sad I'm not going to get my annual visit from Marisa and Cindy this year, but I'm so excited for Cindy and Monte to be starting their family!

B-Town

Chav and Punk headed out early Saturday morning to go scouting; they didn't want to waste one second of their time together.

They came back into town around 3 to eat some lunch, and then we headed back to the mountain around 5:30 (while there was still some daylight left).

Okay, so past weekend the Black Family had family pictures taken. 

I came with options..many options, so the night before I had everyone try on the options and pose so we could decide what was going to work best..
