Here is how I attempted to plan out my life:
Go to graduate school, THEN focus on starting a family.
How my life has played out:
- 2nd day of class = positive pregnancy test
- week 6 = start of nausea and dry heaving = full week off work
- week 10 = 1st Dr's appointment, baby measuring right on schedule
- week 14 = check-up, baby's heart rate 154. Chavis is convinced we are having a girl
The conversation went something like this, "If I am able to get pregnant, I probably won't do graduate school so I can focus on being a Mom." So naturally, the 2nd day of class- I would receive the MOST EXCITING news ever!! Deciding to withdraw from graduate school was still a hard decision because the program I had chosen was well organized and I was doing very well, but by February I knew that the best option for our family would be for me to enjoy my pregnancy and focus on the wonderful career I have already achieved.

So far we eat Little Caesar's Pizza at least once/week because it always sounds good! :)
I realize most people will laugh that I took these early "belly bump" pictures, but I have felt like I've had a bump since week 6...regardless if anyone could tell or not.
