June started off by saying "goodbye" to Jace for 2 years...he left on his mission to the Denver Colorado North mission.
Mid-June, we headed up north to go to Lagoon for the PDI work party. I must say it was so nice being the only couple that didn't have kids: we just did whatever we wanted the whole day.
We did TONS of people watching, and then we took a snooze at lagoona-beach before lunch.
We stood in line for the Spider..which about 30 minutes into our wait we realized that the ride wasn't very cool, but we figured we might as well finish since we'd already waited 1/2 the time...following that mediocre ride, we headed to wait in line at the Wild Mouse...also equally lame, and painful. That ride just jerks you all over, and with only one bar...only the bigger of the two is secured into the ride...so not me.
It was really fun getting to spend the day, just the two of us...especially seeing how we may not have many more summers with JUST us :)
