December 16-18th we headed back to Spring Glen to attend the Allred Christmas Party.
My mom spends many hours every year sending invites, decorating, and purchasing things for this annual Allred party, to give her family a time to get together every year. It's too bad that not everyone sees the effort she puts into these things. My mom cares about FAMILY more than any person I know. She LOVES her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews...she gets presents for everyone every year, and she does it because she LOVES them. She really doesn't expect anything in return; she just wants everyone to enjoy spending time together.
I am so glad we were able to attend this party this year!
Joel and Rachel's fam came down for this too. We enjoyed opening presents with them, and visiting with them. On sunday, we all drove to Huntington to listen to my second cousin Nevin speak before leaving on his mission! He has grown up so much, and it was great seeing family I haven't seen in years.
Next weekend...on the road again...this time to Blanding
